On April 26, 2019, Dr. Petrosino gave an invited lecture at the Learning Sciences Research Institute at the University of Illinois-Chicago. His talk was entitled "Data Modeling for Preservice Teachers and the Rest of Us” and focused on his work on modeling over the last 10 years. A significant part of the presentation was on modeling work conducted as part of the GBCC grant with specific examples about the Wolves in Yellowstone, vaccination modeling, and segregation model work that the grant has done with preservice elementary and secondary teachers.
